Windows Application

RIEG uses Windows UI Automation (accessibility API) to read visible text from the active application window for phishing detection.

  • Only URLs in the focused window are processed
  • Processing is real-time and session-based

No screenshots, keystroke logging, password access, or background monitoring.

  • Does not scan browser if extension is active
  • Does not scan its own dashboard/WebView

2.3 Clipboard Monitoring (Optional)

If enabled by the user, clipboard content may be scanned only for detecting URLs.
